Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to plan, layout, assign, and supervise the work of welding work
- Ability to make estimates for welding consumable, welding joint and time requirements and to prepare reports.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other co- employees such as supervisor, construction manager and QC inspector.
- Responsible for safety of supervised personnel; ensures that craft personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a daily diary, which shall record accomplishments, problems, manpower and equipment usage 6. Prepare & submit RFI to QC to carryout inspection; Monitor and record the number of work on site. 7. Plan and co-ordinate resources and equipment for the field tasks to conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure correct material, machinery, equipment and personnel are available and suitable for completion of work.
- Ensure site fabrication is carried out as per latest drawings & work packs.
- Prepare & submit daily progress report; Forecast Plan & Arrange welding machines, tools as per workload
- Monitor all welding activities. Monitor welder movement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education secondary school
- Minimum 5 years of experience for superintendent
- Relevant working experience in Offshore projects
- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions
- Hands-on Work Experience in handling welding works
