Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation.- Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to the restaurants standards.
Assist in menu planning, costing, and development of new recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies.- Ensure all food is prepared and served promptly, meeting the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
Collaborate with the culinary team to improve and innovate menu offerings.
- Handle any kitchen issues or emergencies that may arise, reporting to the Sous Chef or Head Chef as needed.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, or in a similar role.- Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- Creativity and passion for food, with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
