Special Education Teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and executing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities, teaching primary school subjects, and adapting lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. Daily tasks include assessing student abilities, providing tailored instruction, and collaborating with other allied health professionals. The role also involves maintaining effective communication with parents and caregivers to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Understanding and experience with Disabilities and Special Education
• Proficiency in Teaching and handling Primary School students
• Strong Communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching children with special needs
• Experience in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
